Hi everyone. I know that I have not been posting as frequently as I should be here but life is just so full of fun at the moment that getting time to do the things that I love (like this blog, gaming and reading) have dried up. My full time work and study (as a teacher) are overwhelming due to budget cuts in our state government. So much so that I am teaching computer programming to 31 students in a class with 19 computers in it – fun fun fun.
Now that I have had my beef and you all know that I am still alive, I just wanted to let you know that I just finished up Game 10 of the Rasputin Must Die module for the Pathfinder adventure path the Reign of Winter. I had a ball running it tonight and really enjoyed the game with the friends I have built with it over the past couple of years. They have really come together to form a core team of great role players. I also found that I was in good form with my descriptions tonight and for the first time in a long while I felt like an OK GM!
Admittedly I had to realize that I am falling behind technologically with the tools I use as they have all advanced and I haven’t. I am struggling to use the basics and the advanced is just that little bit beyond me again. I’ll have to earmark some time next year to rectify that!
The real point of this post is to highlight the fact that everyone gets busy! A lot of people seem to think I am a pro at this stuff and nothing could be farther from the truth. I am just a guy who loves gaming, and sharing! We all get busy and we all need to manage that, just make sure you take the time and look after yourself!
Hopefully I will get to another post soon. Thanks for reading the blog and keep rolling!
