Day 17: What Fictional Character Would Best Fit In My Group?

I wish there was a way to include a rolling eyes icon.  Instead, probably a GIF will have to do – it is of a fictional character if that helps.  What a painful question.

And it is a Ferris Bueller reference.  Now that has brightened up my day let me answer the question.  Sorry all, this will be brief but this is a ridiculous question.  Even worse than day 14 but there you go.

At least they described it as fictional so fiction is described as…

fiction ‘fɪkʃ(ə)n/ noun
  1. 1.
literature in the form of prose, especially novels, that describes imaginary events and people.
  2. 2.
something that is invented or untrue.
“they were supposed to be keeping up the fiction that they were happily married”
fictional adjective
  1. relating to or occurring in fiction; invented for the purposes of fiction.
    “fictional texts”

And so we will be going with option 2.2 of fiction which allows us to use the reference of fictional in a broader sense than books.  Why am I being so literal about this one?  Word count – my SEO requires it and hence it gets it.

Therefore my fictional character has to be Dustin from Stranger Things.  Why?  Because he knows the rules and he is the voice of reason.

Gaten Matarazzo
Dustin from Stranger Things

Sorry for the silliness, but a woeful question deserves a woeful answer.  I really do not know why the insistence on all of these questions in this years RPG A Day is focused on rubbish “pick someone” concept.  It does not help us explore the hobby nor ourselves and hence I feel are a waste of my time.  In fact the past three or four posts have really made me think that I must read the questions first before devoting time to it next year.  I struggle to find time to blog this year as is evidenced by the tumbleweeds on my post and taking the time is a massive effort.  The quality of the questions have taken a massive nosedive this year.
