So, today I woke up in great pain. I got a little bit sunburnt on New Years Eve (second degree following the chart below) and I am in a lot of pain. What a way to start the year! It is the second of January here as I type and I just hope that it settles today. So I am doing all that I can at the moment going through my email and I find a sneaky little email telling me that Pathfinder Online went live to early enrollers on 29of December. At least I now have something to minimise the pain with though any movement of my arms is a little difficult!

I am downloading the install client at the moment and getting prepared to leap onto a Windows machine and give it a go. I played it a little in Alpha stage and while I could see that it is going to be a fun game it did not really inspire me out of the box so to speak and I did not spend a lot of time in the Alpha. I am hoping that the changes they made in that test has made the game a lot more intuitive and will allow me to get my adventurer on. It will help me coalesce and learn that I must wear sunscreen!

So I just wanted to say that I am back (probably sooner than last year) and I will be back to talking about more traditional role playing games in depth in the days to come. Thanks to those of you that have continued to read from the site over the holidays and I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Years. I did despite the burns!
