RPG A Day 18: Art that inspires your game

Wow!  Thank goodness for this question!  I woke up super late after having worked late last night and I was panicking because I have been blogging per day.  My scheduling ran out some time ago.  This one is easy to answer because I have the beauties of Pinterest that I pay attention to!  I love the way art inspires me in my games.

If you want to see all of my boards click here.  There are probably 5 boards that are in some way related to roleplaying games.  If you want to see my generic roleplaying game board then click here instead!  It is much more generic and less specialised.  The art I include in this post comes from the generic board and leapt out at me this morning.  It comes from the awesome work of William Basso and can be purchased as a print from his web page.  It is one of my favourites and is called The Masque of the Red Death. Enjoy!

  1. Have you seen the pieces by David Jones to illustrate _The Rime of the Ancient Mariner_? They’re very different in style, but there’s one in particular that came to mind, about dancing with death
