For those of you who have stumbled across our corner of the internet, understanding what RPGKnights.com is all about might be useful. Here, we are all about table top roleplaying games. Anything from RPG reviews to advice on how to run a game or enhance your GM skills. It is important to understand, however, that we don’t just do this for us. You are the reason we are here. As the head man, Mark Knights, will agree: we can carry on some pretty interesting conversation inside our own heads. Instead, we put together this blog, because we’ve gotten some great feedback from others on our thoughts regarding RPGs. Let’s talk a little bit about the stuff we already do and hope to continue doing.
RPG Reviews
Mark and Cameron have both done their own reviews of roleplaying games through different blogs (both their own and others). They are both unabashedly honest in their reviews, having never accepted payment in terms other than a free copy of a game or software they have been asked to review. Unlike a lot of review sites, we don’t always focus on the positive aspects of a game while skirting around potential negatives. We call it as we see it. We talk about the things we like. We admit when there is something we don’t enjoy. We even propose solutions for where we see improvements can be made. On the upside, I don’t think any of us has reviewed a game that we ourselves wouldn’t enjoy playing. There are a lot of great RPGs out there. Sure, not every game is for every player and that is why we offer our reviews. If you have a tabletop RPG or a play aid you’d like us to have a look at, please feel free to contact us.
Free RPG Encounters
Recently, Mark Knights decided to start providing free roleplaying game encounters via RPGKnights.com. These will mostly have a Pathfinder-centric focus, at least in the early stages. After all, what do you expect from a guy who used to run The Pathfinder Chronicles? Other games certainly afford us opportunities for this as well. For now, it’s encounters, but other supplemental material is certain to follow. That may be new classes, rule modifications, races, and more. Remember, these things are all free for you to use as you see fit. A mention of RPGKnights.com when you come across something you like and choose to use would always be appreciated.
GM Advice
From helping players get into character to offering up better challenges, Mark and the team are always hard at work taking their games to the next level. They happily share information with you on the things they have tried that have worked versus what hasn’t. We don’t know everything, though, so we’ll sometimes pose questions to the audience regarding things we have run into and haven’t necessarily solved yet. We pose those questions to you, because we want your feedback. We wouldn’t do so otherwise. Meanwhile, if you have a question on how to handle problems with your games, feel free to drop us a line through our contact form and ask. Chances are you’re not the only one having the same problem and we’re more than happy to help out when we can.
We Want to Hear from You
The bottom line is that this site is for you—our long time and new readers. We want to keep you entertained and bring you important information when we can. To do our best, however, we need to hear from you. What kind of tabletop roleplaying game stuff do you want to read? Let us know and we’ll do our best to deliver. Make use of that contact form or leave comments on our posts. We read them and take note. Suggestions and feedback are always welcome.

And let us not forget Katelyn Swewigart who is our other new Author on the site. She has a post ready to go at the moment and it will be hitting the digital stands very soon. I am super excited to have Katelyn on the team as she is a great gamer with fresh, unique views. I have always taken pleasure in reading her RPG posts on G+ and she has lurked behind the scenes over on The Pathfinder Chronicles site. Now we will get some of that quirky Californian vibe as she offers up posts for the blog!
